In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 beauty retail apps on the Android platform in the Czech Republic displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Notino: perfumes and cosmetics saw notable fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter at 963 downloads, it experienced a peak of 3K in the week of January 23, and ended March with another high at 3K downloads. Active users for the app also showed a positive trend, growing from 4.3K at the beginning of January to 9.2K by the end of March.

Sephora - Make-up, Beauty had more stable download numbers, averaging around 600-900 downloads per week, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Active users ranged from 1.2K to 1.7K, showing a modest increase over the three months.

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics had minimal activity in terms of downloads, starting with just 17 in late December and reaching a maximum of 28 in the week of March 20. Active users mirrored this trend, with numbers staying very low throughout the quarter.

BEAUTY BAY also had low download numbers, peaking at 18 in late December and declining to single digits in the subsequent weeks. Active user counts followed a similar pattern, starting at 56 and dropping to zero by the end of February.

Nykaa Fashion – Shopping App showed the least activity among the top 5, with only a couple of downloads recorded in late January and early February.
